The Mersey Gateway Bridge has a total length of 2.25 km, including the large access viaducts, with a hanging section of three 1 km towers supported by 146 cables. It is located in the city of Manchester connecting Runcorn and Widnes in Cheshire. This work is part of a larger project, aimed at improving the
infrastructure of the Mersey crossings. In 2015 Caldibe manufactured the formwork and platform for two of the 20 piers that make up the viaduct. Its objective was to significantly reduce the congestion of the existing network and improve the connectivity of the area.
